Effective March 30, 2026, the Ontario Land Tribunal (OLT) is implementing a new Practice Direction on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in OLT proceedings.
The Tribunal is launching consultations on changes to its Rules of Practice and Procedure to enhance the way land-related appeals are managed in Ontario, making services more efficient and accessible.
Today, the Ontario Land Tribunal released its 2024-25 Annual Report, offering a look back at the organization’s activities for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2025.

The Ontario Land Tribunal is releasing its 2023-24 Annual Report, which provides an overview of the ongoing activities of the organization for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024.
Following the Tribunal’s review of feedback received during the public consultation on changes to its Rules of Practice and Procedure, the Tribunal’s revised Rules are now in effect.
