Archive – Legislation Introduced to Amend the Land-Use Planning Appeal System in Ontario

On May 30, 2017, the government introduced the Building Better Communities and Conserving Watersheds Act, which, if passed, would make changes to the land-use planning appeal system in Ontario. This includes the creation of the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, which would replace the Ontario Municipal Board.
